Medieval Bruges

Medieval Bruges

Picture-perfect cobbled lanes, peaceful canals and prehistoric market squares, churches, spires and towers, ‘The Venice of the North’, as it is known, is like an open-air museum. As expected from one of Europe’s best preserved medieval towns, you’ll find inspiring architecture aplenty.

Book Now

At the heart of the city, explore the ‘Markt’ and perhaps enjoy a journey in a traditional horse and carriage or take a journey by boat through the city, one of the most tranquil ways to see the sights. Walk further afield from the cobblestone lanes of the centre and you’ll see that Bruges is reminiscent of times gone by, with mostly pedestrianised streets. Relax in one of the pavement cafés and soak up the romantic atmosphere or enjoy a glass or two of Belgian beer. A visit to Bruges isn’t complete until you indulge in a box of the most delicious chocolates in the world!
