Tour Itinerary


Day 1

Travel to Harrogate making refreshment stops along the way, we arrive at the hotel late afternoon to tea/coffee and biscuits on arrival with time to settle in prior to a Christmas cocktail welcome reception before dinner.


Day 2 Christmas Eve - a day at Leisure in Harrogate

Have a day at leisure to enjoy the beautiful spa town of Harrogate with its acres of immaculate gardens featuring an array of winter colours. Admire the dignified Victorian buildings with canopies which hide a wonderful array of quality shops and tea rooms, including the famous Betty's which offers over 300 breads, cakes and chocolates as well as 50 different teas and coffees. At the hotel there is Bingo & quizzes to entertain and a light buffet lunch.


Day 3 Christmas Day at the Hotel

'Merry Christmas everyone'! Enjoy another morning at leisure with a Bucks fizz breakfast to start the day! Later sit down to a traditional Christmas Day lunch followed by a relaxing afternoon and a Christmas jumper competition. For those that still feel peckish in the evening, a light buffet dinner is available.


Day 4 Boxing Day Drive via Wetherby & Knaresborough 

During the afternoon our driver will offer you a scenic drive via Wetherby which dates back to the 12th century, beautifully situated alongside the River Wharfe, and Knaresborough, a characterful and quintessential market town where you can admire the spectacular and rural landscapes.


Day 5

We depart the hotel and arrive back in the local area during the afternoon.

Carefully modernised, grand original features still welcome you to this charming Victorian hotel. Set in 4 acres of grounds, located a 10 minute walk from the centre of town. There is an uphill incline to the hotel.


Bedrooms: En-suite with TV, telephone, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, radio, iron and ironing board.

Facilities: Bar and lounge.

Mobility Information: Lift serves all 3 floors. 3 steps to the reception area. No ground floor bedrooms.
