West Looe & Cornish Gardens
Divided into East and West by its harbour and sheltered river, the seaside town of Looe, is a picturesque Cornish fishing port. East Looe has a charming maze of narrow streets and courtyards, antique shops, traditional pubs and a vibrant quayside fish market. West Looe is quieter, also with shops, restaurants and hotels and leads to Hannafore with its fine views of Looe Island. Visits include The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Lanhydrock (National Trust).
Day 1 Departure: 0700 – 0800 hrs, making a comfort stop en-route. Hotel check-in. Dinner is included for the next 4 nights.

The Eden Project - this dramatic global garden is the size of thirty football pitches nestling like a lost world in an old china clay pit overlooking St Austell Bay. Housed within 3 climate zones, the Humid Tropics, the Warm Temperate and the Temperate, a fabulous range of plants from across the world can be seen.
The Lost Gardens of Heligan, near St Austell. After decades of neglect, the gardens were re-established. Enjoy the variety of attractions including the delightful Victorian pleasure grounds, the sub-tropical jungle valley with its weaving boardwalk, farm walks, the productive gardens, the lost valley and whole tree
policy and the Horsemoor Hide and wildlife project.
Lanhydrock, take a stroll around the extensive gardens and enjoy their year-round colour. Beautiful herbaceous borders, a fabulous formal parterre and colourful higher gardens filled with camellias, magnolias and rhododendrons. A National Trust Property.
Day 5 Depart after breakfast, making comfort stops en-route. Arrive home: early evening.

The Hannafore Point Hotel, West Looe
This town-house style hotel has panoramic coastal views from St George’s Island and on past Rame Head. The town is 15 minutes walk from the hotel.
Bedrooms: En-suite (shower over bath) with TV, tea/coffee making facilities, telephone, trouser press and hairdryer.
Facilities: Bar and lounge. Heated swimming pool, hydro pool, hydro showers, hot beds, gym, sauna, steam room. Night porter.
Mobility Information: Lift does not serve all floors. 3 floors. 20 steps up to front reception. Steps up & down from lift level. 10 steps from lift level down to bar. No ground floor bedrooms. No walk-in showers. The hotel is not well suited to accommodate guests who are physically challenged or wheelchair bound.
