Day 2 A scenic tour to the Trotternish Peninsular, taking in the capital Portree, the dramatic coastline, Kilt Rock, Museum of Island Life, returning along the west coast. Explore the Vaternish Peninsular, with a visit to Dunvegan Castle & Gardens (adm. Inc.) stronghold of the Chiefs of MacLeod for nearly 800 years. Learn the secret of ‘The Fairy Flag’.
Day 3 Full day tour to the mainland, Loch Torridon, Loch Carron, The Eilean Donan Visitor Centre. From Lochs to dense forests, sandy bays to lunar landscape – this day has it all.
Day 4 The Sleat Peninsula, named the garden of Skye. Armadale Castle, Gardens and Museum (adm. inc.), telling the fascinating history of the lords of the Isles, set in the heart of a 20,000 acre Highland estate.
Day 5 Depart after breakfast, making comfort stops en-route. Arrive home: mid-evening.

Kings Arms Hotel, Kyleakin, Isle of Skye
Based in the loch side village of Kyleakin, beneath the Skye Bridge, with panoramic views across the Kyle of Lochalsh. Dating back to the 1600s, it retains many traditional features, such as big open fires along with an informal atmosphere. Recently refurbished, including new bathrooms with overhead showers. The bedrooms, in keeping with the style of the hotel, tend to be small but adequate.
