The quiet seaside retreat of Grange-over-Sands is located on the southern tip of the Cartmel Peninsula within Morecambe Bay. Just seven miles from Lake Windermere, experience a true taste of the English landscape and discover this area of magnificent natural beauty. Day 1 Departure: 0815-0915 hrs. Travel to Cumbria, making a comfort stop en-route. Hotel check-in. Dinner is included for the next 3 nights.

Bowness-on-Windermere, one of Cumbria’s most popular destinations located by Lake Windermere. Once a regular haunt of William Wordsworth, today you’ll be drawn to the location for its beautiful lake, Victorian and Edwardian buildings, and its relaxing atmosphere.
Grasmere, a tiny village which has been an inspirational landscape for hundreds of years and where William Wordsworth’s former home lies, Dove Cottage. Perhaps take a visit to the famous Sarah Nelson Gingerbread Shop to buy the renowned Grasmere Gingerbread.
Keswick, a ‘picture-postcard’ market town for everyone who appreciates beautiful lake scenery. Tourists have been enjoying the
town for over 150 years, so there are plenty of tea rooms, cafés, and shops for browsing around.
Kirkstone Pass, with an altitude of 1,489 feet, is the Lake District's highest pass that is open to motor traffic.
Ullswater, the second largest lake in the Lake District. Teeming with natural beauty, the tranquil area is blessed with lakeside beaches,
lush green fields and woodlands, gentle footpaths and stunning mountain scenery.
Ambleside, a bustling resort once associated with Beatrix Potter, with a cluster of shops and restaurants, and Victorian roots.
Day 4 Depart after breakfast, making a comfort stop en-route. Arrive home: late afternoon.
