Norfolk Lavender Harvest, Sandringham House & East Rushton Gardens

Explore idyllic Norfolk, touring past glorious farmland to reach delightful gardens and the famous Royal Estate. The Queen’s much-loved country retreat in the heart of the region, Sandringham House, is one of the highlights of the visit. We also discover Norfolk’s worldrenowned lavender farm where the English fields will be bursting with rows of purple colour this time of year. East Ruston Old Vicarage Garden is one of the UK’s best coastal gardens, which features perfectly framed views of Happisburgh Church and Lighthouse.

Day 1 Departure: 0900-1000 hrs, making a comfort stop en-route. Hotel check-in. Dinner is included for the next 3 nights.

Days 2 – 3 Tours include:
Sandringham House. Framed within 60 acres of gardens on the Royal Estate, it is Norfolk’s most famous stately home. See the ground floor rooms used by the Royal Family, bedecked with portraits and décor that remains much as it was in the Edwardian era. There is also a charming parish church, and museum housing Royal vehicles and memorabilia to explore.
Norfolk Lavender in Heacham is devoted to the great tradition of English Lavender at their famous lavender farm. The distinct fragrance and colour of over 50 varieties, the UK’s national lavender collection, extends to tranquil gardens and a lavender gift shop.
East Ruston Old Vicarage Gardens has an air of tranquillity, transformed from a blank canvas to a profusion of colour. Just 1½ miles from the coastline, delight in the range of garden themes to inspire all tastes, from an English rose garden to exotic designs.
