Day 1 Departure 0700-0800 hrs. Travel to Scotland, making comfort stops en-route. Hotel check-in. Dinner is included for the next 4 nights.
Day 2 Inverness & Cromarty. Steeped in history and overlooked by the magnificent castle and the statue of Flora McDonald, Inverness is immersed in century-spanning culture. Stroll along the banks of River Ness, close to the spectacular cathedral, or see the ancient buildings which form the New and Old Towns. The Highland town of Cromarty enjoys unusual, preserved buildings set against the backdrop of a beautiful shoreline.
Day 3 West Highlands scenic tour via Achnasheen, tea/coffee stop at Ledgowan Lodge, a superb former hunting lodge, Loch Maree, a majestic landscape in the Highlands made up of one of the most untamed and dramatic lochs in Scotland, containing five large wooded islands and framed by brooding mountains. From the shores you will be rewarded with breathtaking views in all directions. The world famous Inverewe Garden, is a 54-acre Highland garden set against a backdrop of mountains and sea lochs, providing an inspirational setting for an explosion of exotic plants and colour. Marvel at beautiful garden designs, featuring plants from all over the world from Australian tree ferns to South African bulbs.
Day 4 The Cairngorms is a picture-perfect mountain range situated within Britain’s largest national park. It appeals to everyone who loves the great outdoors or soaking up scenery, with diverse wildlife in abundance.
Day 5 Depart after breakfast. Making comfort stops en-route. Arrive home: mid-evening.
