60103 Tornado on the North York Moors Railway
An unmissable trip for every railway enthusiast! This promises to be a day to remember behind one of UK’s fastest and most sought-after steam trains, 60163 Tornado, on Wednesday 7th March. It will make its way through the stunning North York Moors National Park, one of Britain’s greatest heritage railway experiences, on a return journey from Grosmont to Pickering.
Dancing on Ice Live UK Tour
If you’re planning to make the new series a staple to your Sunday night when it returns to our screens this week, why not see the spectacular performance for yourself at the Dancing on Ice Live tour? Following a four year break, it will celebrate all the things that make it a hit show – and this time the legendary Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean will take up their new roles as Head Judges, and will once again be joined by a host of celebrities and professional skaters.
We have day trips on Tuesday 10th April at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham or Saturday 14th April at Arena Birmingham.
The Terracotta Warriors
Don’t miss the hugely anticipated exhibition at the World Museum in Liverpool. For the first time in 10 years, the spectacular warriors from the tomb of China’s First Emperor have been brought to the UK in an unprecedented exhibition. London’s spectacular West End won’t disappoint again this year – and we have tickets to a whole host of new shows, including the Strictly Ballroom the Musical on Wednesday 23rd May, Tina: The Tina Turner Musical on Thursday 21st June, and The King and I on Wednesday 5th September.
Highlights include the Tina Turner Musical, unmissable for fans of one of the best-selling artists of all time. The new stage musical reveals the untold story of a woman who dared to defy the bounds of her age, gender and race, and features her much loved songs.
Tipped to be London’s theatrical event of the year is at The King and I at the iconic London Palladium – an unforgettable production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The King and I considered ‘the greatest musical from the golden age of theatre!’.
RHS Flower Shows
See for yourself why RHS events continue to top the gardening calendar and draw thousands of visitors every year.
Our day trips include Chelsea Flower Show on Thursday 24th May, held within the Royal Chelsea Hospital since 1912 and today considered the most famous flower show in the country.
Other favourites include the largest flower show, Hampton Court Palace Flower Show on Sunday 8th July, or you can discover upcoming designers and inspirational show gardens at the Tatton Park Flower Show on Saturday 21st July. Chatsworth Flower Show is also back for a highly anticipated 2nd year, with our day trips on Friday 8th June and Sunday 10th June.
